The Portland Oregon Temple is a temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church) located in the Cedar Hills area of Portland, Oregon. The temple was dedicated on August 19, 1989 by Gordon B. Hinckley. It is the church's 142nd operating temple. The temple was built on a 12.5-acre (5.1 ha) site, the temple features a single spire and a total of 68,686 square feet (6,379.9 m2). The temple serves members of the church in Oregon, southwest Washington, and parts of northern California.
